Three Diy Infused Waters

Great for keeping you hydrated this summer.

Good morning guys, How are you doing this summer? If you’re not drinking enough water already this post is definitely for you. With the Kenyan summer in full swing staying hydrated is so important. So for today’s post i’m taking it back to basics with three Diy Infused Waters.  So refreshing, hydrating and taste so much better than plain water. These three diy infused waters give you a natural energy boost, hydrate your body throughout the day and are loaded with antioxidants and vitamins  from the fruit. Not to mention they’re so pretty!!… So who wouldn’t want to drink water if it came looking like that!

Ingredients
1. Citrus Burst
  • 1/2 Orange Sliced
  • 1/2 Lemon Sliced
  • 1/2 Lime Sliced
  • 1/2 Cucumber Sliced
  • 1 Litre water
2. Strawberry Melon Fiesta
  • 1/2 Cup Strawberries
  • 1/2 Cup Watermelon Chunks
  • Fresh Mint
  • 1 Litre water
3. Lemon & Mint Cooler
  • 1/2 Lemon Sliced
  • 6-8 Slices Cucumber
  • Handful Fresh Mint
  • 1 Litre water
Fresh Fruit slices

Method:
  1. Simply start by thoroughly washing your fruit then slice them into wedged or disks. Pop them in a bottle or jug and top it up with drinking water and fresh mint.
  2. Store in the fridge for at least 3 hrs or overnight to infuse then enjoy a refreshing drink the next day.

Tip : You can refill the same bottle twice but be sure to change the fruit after 48hrs especially the citrus or it will get bitter. Lastly drink more water it’s good for you:)

Happy drinking!

Yours’
