Cold beers, food and a great laugh!
If you’re not already taking part in the Oktoberfest beer hop you’re running out of time. It’s all about cold beer, good food and great company all month long.
Courtesy of The Big Five Breweries we get to try out local craft beers and beers from around the globe, while collecting stamps for every beer purchased you get to either redeem the stamps for more beer or cool beer merchandise.
This Oktoberfest season My girls and I hit up 1. Brew Bistro Fortis Tower, 2. Golden Tulip Hotel & 3.Artcaffe Oval.
Call it a day of lots of laughter and beer! Starting of with the Nyatipa brew from Brew Bistro (well rounded flavor bitter/malty/medium) followed by Belgian beers; Green Killer & Schuimzuipe (Both quite bitter & strong) then Pink Killer (Sweet/malty/mild) & La Divine (Slightly bitter/caramel/Slightly sweet). It was the perfect excuse for day drinking that made our weekend.
Why you should try it out.
If beer is your cuppa tea, this festival was made for you so grab a beer passport from any participating restaurant, grab a friend or two (the more the merrier) and beer and brunch! You have until the 24th of October to get beer hopping with your mates.
The beer prices range from 350/ – 890/- bob depending on where you go, but if you go around happy hour you can get local craft brews from 200/- bob. Just remember to eat something along the way for a friendly experience and redeem your stamps for beer merchandise or more beer!
Happy Oktoberfest!
