5 Minute Sorbet

Not too long ago I made mango sorbet from scratch and thought I was really onto something. Until Njeri Nyakairu of SomethingDIY blew my mind with this 5 minuet sorbet. Of course I was sceptical about the idea because we apparently didn’t need an ice cream maker, blender or any other fancy kitchen gadget! So the real question was how then, were we going to make it! I’m used to making all my icy treats in a blender/processor, but If one could whip up dessert in less than five minuets without any of those, then they must be a super hero or something…(SomethingDIY)

Well super hero or ordinary Joe, we did make and eat this delicious sorbet in less than 10 minutes, with less than 5 ingredients! Get the ingredients below then head on over to the making. Click here.

Ingredients
1 Cup Mango Juice
2 Cups Ice
1 Cup Salt
1 Cup Water

1 Large  + 1 Medium Freezer Bag

Method:
Measure all your ingredients out. Pour the juice into the medium freezer bag seal and set aside. Next add the ice, salt and water into the bigger freezer bag. Pop in the sealed juice bag, seal the ice bag and shake for 4 minutes and let the magic happen. In no time you will have sorbet with seriously zero to no effort!
